XIV International Forum of the Russian Beer and Soft Drinks Industry

On January 31, 2025, the XIV International Forum "Beer and Soft Drinks Industry of Russia - A Look into the Future" was held in Moscow in the complex of the Russian Biotechnology University (ROSBIOTECH).

The organizers of the Forum were the National Union of Barley, Malt, Hops and Beer and Soft Drinks Producers and the Russian Biotechnology University (ROSBIOTECH).

The event was traditionally held with the information support and participation of representatives of the management of the federal bodies of the executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation. The Forum was attended by the heads of the Government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, specialized ministries, regulatory authorities, etc.

The total number of participants in the events was more than 500 people.

⦿ Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, took part in the work of the Forum as a member of the jury and one of the speakers.

The topic of the report by Viktor Osipov at the Forum: "Guaranteed supply of the Russian food industry with high-quality domestically produced glass containers." Viktor Osipov in his report outlined the history of the development of glass container consumption, highlighted export issues, and the capabilities of glass container factories to provide the Russian food industry. He said that at present the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia attaches particular importance to the development of glass container consumption in this industry. Expanding the consumption of environmentally friendly glass packaging for bottling soft drinks and beer is the key to the health of the Russian population.
