The 10th issue of the monthly scientific and technical journal "Glass and Ceramics" for 2021 has been published.

Contents of the October issue:

- Kinetic laws of interaction of bismuthate-borate glasses with orthophosphoric acid

The process of interaction of bismuthate-borate glasses with the composition (mass content,%): 70 Bi2O3, 30 B2O3; 70 Bi2O3, 27 B2O3, 3 MoO3; 70 Bi2O3, 26.94 B2O3, 3.06 GeO2 and bismuth glasses of composition (mass content,%): 80 Bi2O3, 7 SiO2, 10 GeO2, 3 MoO3 with orthophosphoric acid. The kinetics of this process is described and the activation energy is calculated. It is shown that at small values of the interaction time, the process is limited by the stage of the chemical reaction; with increasing time, the stage of diffusion through the sediment layer begins to play the main role in the heterogeneous interaction. The optimal parameters of the chemical processing of glass were selected - 15 min at 373 K.

- Crystallization and luminescence of activated Ni2 + gallium germanosilicate glasses with partial replacement of Ga2O3 with Al2O3

The effect of the Al2O3 additive introduced by the substitution method on the crystallization and spectral-luminescent properties of gallium-germanosilicate glasses with γ-Ga2O3: Ni2 + nanocrystals was investigated. An increase in the luminescence efficiency of Ni2 + is revealed, which is caused by both an increase in the degree of crystallization of glasses with Al2O3 and an increase in the strength of the crystal field around Ni2 + ions due to the incorporation of Al3 + into the structure of the precipitated nanocrystals.

- Directions for optimization of technological regulation of container glass production: best available technologies, norms of general action and carbon intensity of products

The system of technological regulation of negative impact on the environment (NVOS) based on the best available technologies (BAT) has been analyzed. The expediency of updating the information and technical reference book on BAT "Glass Production" and clarifying the technological indicators of resource and environmental efficiency of production has been demonstrated. It is proposed to standardize the secondary sources of NWOS on the basis of the norms of general action. It is emphasized that resource efficiency indicators should be used to calculate indicative indicators of the carbon intensity of products that can be used in the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions by the Russian industry.
