- SUBSTRATES FOR GIANT RAMINA SPECTROSCOPY BASED ON NANOPOROUS GLASS ACTIVATED WITH SILVER PARTICLES

Substrates for amplifying the signal of giant Raman scattering (GRS) of light are being actively developed in order to accurately detect low concentrations of organic molecules. However, the complexity and high cost of fabricating substrates often limits their application. A simple method for obtaining SERS substrates based on nanoporous glass functionalized with silver particles is proposed, and the efficiency of the substrates in detecting low concentrations of benzoic acid is demonstrated.

- STUDY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF REDUCING ENERGY COST IN LASER SCRIBING OF GLASS AND CERAMIC PLATES

Within the framework of the one-dimensional problem of the evaporation of an absorbing layer of a material with the “instantaneous” release of laser pulse energy, the possibility of reducing energy costs in the scribing of glass and ceramic plates is studied. A scribing method is proposed, in which the laser radiation emitted through the rear surface of the plate is returned to the plate with the help of a mirror with a reflection coefficient of ~ 99%. The optimal modes of plate scribing are determined. It is shown that with deep scribing, it is possible to reduce energy costs by 1.4 - 1.8 times compared with traditional laser scribing. When the depth of the scribing groove is less than 0.3 of the plate thickness, the use of the considered method is inappropriate due to the insignificance of the positive effect.

- INFLUENCE OF DISTRIBUTION OF LIQUID BORING ON THE FORMATION OF POROUS STRUCTURE OF FOAM GLASS

The use of liquid-phase blowing agents in the synthesis of foam glass is shown to be promising. The dynamics of change in the size of glass particles in the process of obtaining the charge has been studied. It is shown that additional grinding of glass powder particles occurs in the process of mixing. The influence of the charge mixing time on the foam glass structure has been studied. It has been established that the density of the resulting foam glass is directly proportional to the duration of mixing of the mixture. Changes in the structure of the material associated with the processes of distribution of the liquid pore-forming mixture on the particles of glass powder during mixing and subsequent changes in the dynamics of the processes of thermal destruction of glycerin are described.
