- OBTAINING OF ALKALINE-FREE ALUMINOSILICATE GLASS CERAMICS BY THE SOL-GEL METHOD AND INVESTIGATION OF ITS PROPERTIES

The sol-gel method was used to synthesize glass-ceramic materials in the SiO2–Al2O3–RO (RO–MgO, SrO, BaO, and their combinations) systems. The factors influencing the process of sol-gel formation are revealed. The effect of the composition and temperature-time regimes of heat treatment on the crystallization properties of gels, phase transformations, phase composition, granulometry, and shape of the resulting particles was studied. The nature of phase transformations in powders is revealed depending on the temperature-time conditions of heat treatment. It is shown that, depending on the composition, anorthites or their solid solutions are the dominant crystalline phases, the temperatures of their formation are established: hexagonal Celsian is formed at a temperature of 1350 °C, monoclinic strontium anorthite - at 1400 °C, cordierite - at 1450 °C. The influence of pressing and heat treatment conditions on the physical-mechanical, dielectric and thermal properties of the obtained materials has been studied.

- STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF CRYSTALLIZATION OF QUARTZ GLASS PIPE MATERIAL ON THE QUALITY OF QUARTZ CERAMIC BLANKS

The effect of crystallization of the material of quartz tubes on the quality of workpieces made of quartz ceramics for radio engineering has been studied. An analysis of the influence of the method of preparing pipe samples for testing for resistance to crystallization was carried out. The influence of the mass fraction of impurities in quartz concentrates on the crystallization of pipe material during incoming inspection, as well as on the presence of crystalline phases in products and on the properties of products made of quartz ceramics controlled in production, has been evaluated.
