In North Ossetia, a glass container manufacturing enterprise is implementing the principles of lean manufacturing

The implementation of the principles of "lean manufacturing" continues at industrial enterprises of North Ossetia. At the moment, the principles that allow saving resources and time are being implemented at one of the glass container manufacturing enterprises. As explained by the Ministry of Industry of North Ossetia, the work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

The enterprise has completed the preparation stage, the next stage is consultations with specialists from the Federal Competence Center directly at the production site. Now a working group is being formed, which is being trained in the basics of lean manufacturing and flow optimization.

"The launch of the project at another enterprise of the republic demonstrates the focus of our enterprises on development and modernization. The goal of the national project "Labor Productivity" is to form a modern production culture that helps companies effectively compete in the market," explained Deputy Minister of Industry Natalia Pekhtereva.

It should be noted that thanks to the implementation of the federal project "Labor Productivity", the average reduction in the time of processes at industrial enterprises of the republic was 32%. Optimization of work processes has significantly reduced the time required to perform operations, meaning that enterprises now spend fewer resources on performing the same tasks, which leads to an increase in overall production efficiency.
