Morocco expressed interest in importing glass from Russia

Russian glass suppliers visited Morocco on a business mission. During the visit, negotiations were held with the main importers of flat glass of the kingdom and with key transport and logistics companies, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported.

Currently, there is a high demand for sheet glass in Morocco due to the low level of supplies in the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, as well as the lack of necessary volumes in warehouses and problems with the organization of logistics from China. The annual volume of glass imports to this country is about 250 million dollars.

“In this regard, Moroccan players show a high interest in organizing cooperation with Russian manufacturers. Considering the above, the Trade Representation is ready to continue working with interested Russian exporters of flat glass to establish contacts with Moroccan importers,” the message says.
