Two investment projects are being implemented in Dagestan with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Dagestan

The projects of the Caspian Glass Fiber Plant and Dagpolymer companies for the production of fiberglass and plastic are being implemented at the Uytash investment site in Kaspiysk.

The projects were supported by the Council under the Head of Dagestan on improving the investment climate in 2019. The territory of future enterprises was examined by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic, Haji Sultanov.

The Minister discussed with investors issues of training for industries, infrastructure development and the glass industry as a whole.

The launch of Dagpolymer production is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2020. At present, the metal structures of the floors have been prepared, construction and installation work is ongoing.

In the same period, the first phase of the Caspian Fiberglass Plant project will be launched. The second phase will be implemented until 2021. The total cost is about 324 million rubles. The design capacity of the plant is 2.3 thousand products per year.

The projects are financed, inter alia, in the framework of the state program “Development of the North Caucasus Federal District”.
