Tempered glass production opened in Buryatia thanks to state support

In Buryatia, the Wood-Master company has opened a tempered glass production facility. Currently, it is the only manufacturer of such products in the republic.

The opening of the new production facility was attended by Ivan Alkhayev, Deputy Chairman of the Buryatia Government. He noted its importance for the republic.

- Tempered glass is often used in the field of fire-resistant glazing. It is completely safe for humans even in the event of complete destruction - it crumbles into small pieces with blunt edges that are not capable of injuring a person. The nearest similar production facility in the Far East is located in Khabarovsk, - said Ivan Alkhayev.

Wood-Master received a preferential targeted loan from the Regional Industrial Development Fund to organize the production facility. This support measure was provided within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship". As a result, 8 new jobs were created.

- A horizontal washing machine for mechanical washing and drying of sheet glass, a horizontal CNC edge grinding center, and a furnace for tempering flat glass were purchased with the funds of the targeted loan. Also, with the support of the regional engineering center of the Buryatia Guarantee Fund, a business plan was made to obtain a targeted loan, - said Alexey Ungayev, First Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of Buryatia.

Wood-Master LLC has been operating in Buryatia for 20 years. The company specializes in the production and installation of windows, doors, balconies, stained glass windows, entrance groups, aluminum structures, roller shutters and blinds. It was also engaged in the production of joinery from solid wood (tables, chairs, beds, chests of drawers, etc.).
