In Belarus, the Grodno Glassworks completed the next stage of modernization

OJSC “Grodno Glassworks” repaired the furnace No. 2 for the production of a colored bottle. During the repair, the bottom of the cooking pool is insulated, which will reduce heat loss through the masonry (and thereby save gas consumption), maintain higher temperatures. Installing glass melt mixers in the feeder will also help improve the quality of products.

The growing demand for glass containers and the full utilization of existing production facilities led to the idea of building a new production site. The project involves the construction of glass containers production on three lines of a glass melting furnace with a capacity of 220 tons per day. The implementation of the project will allow the production of more than 242 million units. glass containers, master the production of a beer bottle from brown glass, including lightweight (the color of the glass and the assortment of glass containers can be changed depending on the structure of demand).
