Turkmen enterprise «Senagat Tehnologiýalary» launched the production of fiberglass

Senagat Tehnologiýalary Open Joint Stock Company, which produces composite reinforcement in Turkmenistan, launched the production of fiberglass in the form of continuous filaments (rovings) in August this year.

Fiberglass in the form of continuous threads (rovings) is a raw material for the production of composite reinforcement.

The enterprise, created jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and the Algap individual enterprise, which is part of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), has manufactured a trial batch of products and received certificates of conformity for it.

Senagat Tehnologiýalary is capable of producing 500 tons of fiberglass per year.

Fiberglass has fire, heat, chemical resistance, and is also resistant to biological conditions. According to the report, fiberglass is also widely used in industry and construction.

The enterprise also collects used glass bottles and glass products in Turkmenistan for their further processing.
