SMART GLASS PRIVATE GLASS IN HOSPITALS: HOW TO HELP PATIENTS IN DAILY LIFE AND MEDICINES IN WORK

Dear colleagues!

We would like to share with you information about the project implemented by the Member of the Association StekloSouz of Russia LLC Privat Glass.

At the end of June, a new oncology and hematology building was opened at the Voronezh Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. The project included the use of smart glass to solve two problems at once:

• Opportunity for regular monitoring of patients by doctors

• Ability to ensure the privacy of patients in the ward

The uniqueness of this project is that in one product it was possible to combine glass with variable transparency Private Glass and X-ray protective glass. Thanks to the technical solution, a special smart glass in an X-ray resistant frame was created, which became a joint project of several companies.

The rejection of traditional curtains and blinds that require special hygienic care is becoming an increasingly common trend in the design of hospital complexes in Russia.

Participation in socially significant projects is one of the important priorities of the Privat Glass company, since the introduction of innovative products into everyday practice makes it possible not only to facilitate the daily routine work of medical workers, but also to bring comfort to the life of little patients.
