Russia began to restore a glass factory in the Iraqi city of Ramadi

Work on the reconstruction of the plant of glass and ceramic products in the Iraqi city of Ramadi will begin in the near future, said Ilya Lobov, economic adviser to the Russian Embassy in Iraq. This was reported on November 6 by RIA Novosti.

“In the near future, an expert working group consisting of 20 narrow specialists in the field of technology and production of glass and ceramic products will begin a substantive study of the production site,” said Ilya Lobov.

This is a project being implemented by the Russian Industrial Consortium for the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Iraq.

According to Lobov, the launch of the plant will create more than a thousand jobs in the city of Ramadi.

It should be noted that on October 20, the Minister of Agriculture of Iraq said that Russia needs to expand its exports in the field of medical goods, feed and food, and Iraq can help Russian business in solving practical difficulties.
