The work of «StekloSouz» on the development of consumption of secondary raw materials of cullet

As part of joint planned work with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia has prepared a program to develop the consumption of recycled cullet raw materials for remelting in glass furnaces.

Currently, work is underway with machine-building plants for the production of equipment necessary for the production of raw materials.

In EU countries, cullet in remelting is in relation to the charge of 30 percent or more.

Practice shows that thanks to the repeated melting of cullet, unique quartz sands are preserved for raging generations, emissions into the atmosphere are reduced, and the amount of electricity consumed is reduced. There are other positive mutually beneficial results with the state.

The management of "StekloSouz" is confident that the partnership between the state and business will give good results. Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia at a meeting of the presidium emphasized the importance of this work.
