Large Sterlitamak companies are ready to invest in the construction of an overpass through railways in the industrial zone. This will allow them to reduce the cost of transporting goods, eliminating the need to transport them through the city. In addition, residents will receive a short trip to the bridge across Belaya towards Ishimbay. The issue was discussed at the "Transport Hour" in the government of Bashkiria.

According to the head of Gostrans Timur Mukhametyanov, the auction for the selection of a contractor-designer is scheduled for January 20, 2020. The project should be ready by October 30th. For implementation, an option has been identified on the site from ul. Oleg Koshevoy to the street Grandma’s. A two-lane overpass of 120 m, with approaches of a total length of 1.85 km, is planned to begin to be built in 2021.

The cost of design and survey work is estimated at 45 million rubles. The project of the bridge and access roads will cost 27 million rubles, the project of the reconstruction of communications, state expertise, the project of planning and surveying the object - 18 million. The estimated cost of construction and installation works without infrastructure transfer is 265.4 million rubles.

The main burden will be borne by the republican budget. The city will co-finance 3% of the design work. The business share will be determined shortly. The initiators of the overpass construction were BSK, Bashspirt, Sintez-Kauchuk, Petrochemical Plant, BashSpetsStal, Bashkir Glass Company.

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, on the whole approved the project, noting that the interested parties are “not weak enterprises,” and he expects them to participate adequately in financing the construction of an important facility for them.
