Panel Discussion Quality That Is Visible from the Glass Institute

Dear colleagues!

A member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, the Glass Institute LLC actively participates in the development of the glass industry, holding events aimed at improving the quality of products and technologies.

One of the upcoming events is the organization and conduct of a panel discussion on the topic: "Quality That Is Visible".

This meeting will provide an honest and professional analysis of insulating glass unit quality at all stages of its life cycle—from sheet glass production to the point where a defect becomes a problem for the developer and façade contractor.

The goal of the event is to discuss quality management in a lively dialogue format, as well as share experiences and solutions.

The discussion will focus on practical issues:

• where in the "glass - insulated glass unit - facade" chain do the main risks arise

• what quality parameters cannot be assessed visually

• where is the boundary between formal compliance with standards and the requirements of complex projects

• at what stages is quality control truly effective

The discussion will feature and present:

• leading sheet glass manufacturers (Larta Glass, AIG, Salavatsteklo)

• major insulated glass unit manufacturers (RSK, Modern Glass, STIS, DomGlass, Sibglass)

• industry institutes as independent experts and quality system architects (Glass Institute, Interregional Institute of Window and Facade Structures)
