LLC «Sibsteklo» and the All-Russian Society of the Deaf signed a cooperation agreement

As part of the business program of the First National Championship in Professional Skills DeafSkills in Kazan (December 9-11), LLC Siberian Glass (an asset of RATM Holding) and the All-Russian Society of the Deaf signed a cooperation agreement, which implies the effective use of paid labor of citizens with hearing impairments, ensuring environmental safety and environmental improvement.

According to Anton Mora, General Director of Siberian Glass LLC, the parties to the agreement intend to explore the possibilities of organizing special jobs for people with hearing disabilities at a glass container production plant, professional training for such employees, as well as ways of integrating deaf workers into the team - all this allowed would they exercise their right to work.

In addition, the interaction of the parties provides for the creation of an environmental educational program adapted to the communicative characteristics of the deaf, which will be aimed at creating a culture of responsible consumption, including the correct attitude towards waste.

Let us remind you that Sibsteklo LLC is the largest cullet recycler in Siberia and is ready to accept up to 200 thousand tons of glass waste per year. Their melting point is lower than mixtures of sand, soda and dolomite - every 10% of recyclable materials reduce energy consumption by 3%. As a result, carbon dioxide emissions are reduced and the lifespan of glass furnaces is extended from 10 to 15 years. In addition, the involvement of cullet in the economic turnover slows down the rate of accumulation of useful waste fractions at MSW landfills and the depletion of mineral reserves. The plant expects to increase the flow of cullet - Sibsteklo participates in the development of the infrastructure for the separate collection of MSW, together with the largest brewing company AB InBev Efes launched a project for the collection and disposal of used glass from cafes and restaurants, opened bases for the collection of cullet in Khabarovsk and Irkutsk .
