Huge silver-coated glasses to be produced in Klin

In 2025, two major investment projects will be launched at the Klin Glass Factory.

The first is the construction of a new workshop for the production of coated glass. It will be equipped with a super-powerful magnetron capable of applying up to three layers of silver. Such glass will not only be beautiful, but also energy-efficient: in winter, it will retain heat in the building, and in summer, it will protect against overheating.

The second project is the modernization of the polished glass line for the production of large-format products up to 12 meters long. Such glass is in demand among architects and builders around the world, as it allows for the creation of panoramic glazing. Until now, such products were produced only in Germany, but from 2025, they will be made in the Moscow region.

The implementation of the projects will replace imports and produce up to 6 million square meters of glass per year.

New jobs will appear at the plant: glass molding operators, equipment adjusters, transporters and quality controllers. Training and mentoring programs are provided for new employees.
