Enriched quartz sand is produced in the Kyzylorda region

Refined and enriched quartz sand for the first glass plant in Kazakhstan is now produced in the Kyzylorda region. On the eve of the New Year, an industrial facility, important not only for the region, but also for the entire country, was launched.

During a working visit to the Aral, Kazalinsky, Karmakshinsky and Zhalagash districts, the regional akim Gulshara Abdykalikova got acquainted with the work of industrial and social facilities, and also handed over the keys to apartments to more than a hundred large families, the correspondent of "Khabar 24" reports.

The head of the region took part in the launch ceremony of the silica sand processing plant located in the Aral region. A unique building material is required for glass production. The capacity of the enterprise is 120 thousand tons of finished products per year. 70 new jobs have been created at the facility.

Gulshara Abdykalikova, akim of the Kyzylorda region:

- The first glass factory in Kazakhstan has been launched in the region. He needs quartz sand. Part of the manufactured products will meet the needs of the region, and some will be exported.
