Named waste that cannot be thrown into garbage containers

Expert in the housing and utilities sector Dmitry Bondar revealed the rules that many Russians are not aware of: ordinary containers in courtyards are not intended for large-sized and hazardous waste. Violators will face fines, and businesses risk losing hundreds of thousands of rubles.

Bondar explained: furniture, doors, plumbing and construction waste are prohibited from being thrown into common bins. According to the law "On waste", they are disposed of separately. Sofas or bags with broken tiles left near containers are grounds for a complaint to the management company. Citizens face a fine of 2-3 thousand rubles, organizations - up to 250 thousand.

Toxic waste is especially dangerous: broken thermometers, batteries, lamps, paints, expired medicines. They cannot be mixed with household waste - only handed over to specialized points, reports.

Business structures are required to enter into separate contracts for the removal of commercial waste. An attempt to save money by throwing waste into residential containers can result in huge fines.
