In the village of Krasnoye Ekho, Gus-Khrustalny district, a correctional center was opened at PKU IK-1 - essentially, it is an isolated production site operating as a correctional center.

50 convicted men will be able to serve their sentences at the enterprise. General Director of Krasnoe Echo LLC Dmitry Clegg, on the basis of his plant, is ready to provide them with work and decent wages, reports the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Vladimir Region:

The dormitory for prisoners is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable accommodation, as well as modern technical means for the work of employees of the correctional system department.

Let us note that this is not the first experience of employing prisoners at enterprises of the Vladimir region in the industrial sector, economic sector or tourism sector. For example, a year ago in Suzdal they opened a correctional center with 100 places for women sentenced to forced labor - convicts are employed as auxiliary workers in a tourist complex.
