Heat-resistant glassware production to be launched in Kuban

Vice Governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Ruppel reported that the project will include the construction of the second stage of the plant operating in Armavir with investments of 848 million rubles.

The production of cast heat-resistant glassware for microwave ovens and ovens, as well as glass lids, is planned to be launched at the plant in Armavir in Krasnodar Krai due to the construction of the second stage with investments of 848 million rubles. This was reported to TASS by Vice Governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Ruppel following the signing of an agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"In general, it is important to establish the production of heat-resistant glass in the region. Today, this product is mainly supplied from abroad. The buildings of the production workshops have already been built and the necessary equipment for the production of glass mass has been installed. For its part, the region supported it with subsidies from the relevant state program and preferential loans from the regional Industrial Development Fund for a total of over 435 million rubles,” said Ruppel following the signing of an agreement with the director of the Gornitsa enterprise, Sergei Shcherba.

The project will include the construction of the second stage of the plant operating in Armavir, which is one of the 10 largest manufacturers of metal cookware in Russia.

The company intends to invest over 848 million rubles in the implementation of the project, commissioning the furnaces and launching production in 2026. The enterprise will manufacture over 3.7 million glass lids per year, which will cover its own needs and 13% of the domestic market for such products. It will also manufacture cast heat-resistant glassware for microwave ovens and ovens.
