In Kuban, a container manufacturer will introduce lean technologies according to a national project

This work at the 93 Region company, which sells glass and plastic containers, is carried out in accordance with the Labor Productivity national project.

At the enterprise, with the participation of experts from the Regional Competence Center, the working group will optimize the processes of unloading, storing, assembling and shipping products to wholesale customers. This should also reduce inventories and increase the production of glass jars.

Now the company’s employees are studying the best methods from world practice in the field of warehouse logistics. There are plans to reduce unnecessary movements of finished products by rearranging equipment, using special markings, purchasing walkie-talkies to communicate with workers, and introducing a rack storage system.

“Increasing labor productivity and supporting such companies is an important direction on the path to import substitution and economic sovereignty of the region and the country,” said the head of the region’s Ministry of Economy, Alexey Yurtaev.

In addition, the company is considering the possibility of using data reading terminals and a partial transition to electronic document management in the process of acceptance and shipment, reports the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration.
