«Kurskmedsteklo» will invest about 100 million rubles in modernization of production

The Kurskmedsteklo company will invest about 100 million rubles in the technical re-equipment and modernization of production. Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region Vyacheslav Berzin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kurskmedsteklo JSC Boris Shakhov and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Union Organizations of the Kursk Region Alexei Lazarev signed a protocol to a trilateral cooperation agreement, the regional administration website reported.

The volume of production of the company's products at the end of last year amounted to 355 million rubles; this is more than in 2019. The company employs over 200 people, the average wage is 27,966 rubles.

“Within the framework of the signed protocol, in 2021 Kurskmedsteklo plans to invest at least 100 million rubles in technical re-equipment and modernization. Average wages should rise by 10%. In addition, the company will continue to participate in the implementation of social programs: it will help schools, hospitals, orphanages, ”said Deputy Governor Vyacheslav Berzin.

Kurskmedsteklo is the only enterprise in the country with a full production cycle from glass melting to manufacturing and sales of products. The company specializes in the production of glass ampoules and medical tubes. Last year, the company exported its products to Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia.
