Crimean developers have created armored glass that can withstand drones with a kilogram of explosives

Crimean developers have created new armored glass and quick-release modules for equipment on the front lines that can withstand a direct hit and strikes from FPV drones with a kilogram of explosives. This is reported by "Krym 24".

Tests have shown that the glass successfully protects the crew of the equipment even when firing from a pistol and machine gun from five meters away and when exposed to an explosive projectile from a drone. The new quick-release modules allow replacing damaged glass in 15 minutes without dismantling the entire structure, which is critical in a combat situation.

At the moment, the manufacturers already have four types of glass with different characteristics for civilian and military equipment. The developments are intended for KAMAZ, UAZ, "Bukhanka" and "Patriot", and in the near future, adaptation will affect other types of equipment.

Manufacturers note that protection is needed not only for combat equipment, but also for engineering, medical and rescue equipment, since the enemy often attacks evacuation and engineering groups. New production can be launched within a month.
