The world's largest glass manufacturer, the Japanese company AGC, has decided to suspend investments in the Russian Federation, as well as reduce the supply of its products to the Russian market. This is stated in the statement of the corporation published on Friday.
The company expressed deep concern about the situation in Ukraine and expressed hope for its speedy peaceful settlement. AGC stressed that it is significantly reducing, in particular, the supply of products to automotive manufacturers in the Russian Federation.
The Japanese company also said it was forced to suspend its operations in Ukraine, stressing that 24 of its employees in the country are currently safe. AGC noted that it would send €700,000 to the Ukrainian side as humanitarian aid.
