Klin Glass Factory to Invest Over RUB 13 Billion in Expansion

Klin Glass Factory LLC (KSZ) is investing over RUB 13 billion in the expansion of its existing glass production facility, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region reported on Wednesday.

The agreement on the implementation of the investment project was signed at the SPIEF-2025 by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva and General Director of Klin Glass Factory LLC Sergey Sretinsky.

Klin Glass Factory is investing RUB 13 billion in the reconstruction of the production line, as well as in the purchase of high-tech equipment to launch new production processes. By expanding the enterprise, the investor will create more than 130 jobs," Zinovieva is quoted as saying in the statement.

The press service clarifies that the company will reconstruct the polished glass production line in order to produce coated glass with a thickness of 3 to 12 mm. The investor will also purchase magnetron equipment to launch a new line for applying special sun protection and energy saving coatings to glass.

Zinovieva clarified that the first production line will reach its design capacity next year, and the project will be fully implemented in 2026.
