Kamyshin Glass Container Plant turns 85 years old

The history of the enterprise began in April 1936, when the first stones were laid in the foundation of the future giant of the glass industry. This was done by order of the People's Commissar of Light Industry of the USSR, which on January 27, 1936 No. 089 included the construction of a glass canning container plant in the city of Kamyshin in the capital construction plan.

On April 30, 1939, the first 1-liter can rolled off the assembly line. And the birthday of the plant is considered to be May 1, 1939, when the enterprise was included in the list of operating ones.

On May 18, 2024, factory workers were welcomed within the walls of the Kamyshin Drama Theater. A solemn awards ceremony for employees took place here.

The culmination of the holiday was the screening of a music video prepared by the plant’s employees, who are distinguished not only by their high professionalism, but also by many other talents.
