79 beer producers join the labeling experiment

The beer labeling experiment began on April 1, 2021. For 6 months of the pilot project, the working group included 79 manufacturers, 7 importers, 59 wholesale and retail representatives and 4 companies from the HoReCa segment.

77 printing houses, 13 bonded warehouses, 126 system integrators for industries and 14 system integrators for retail and HoReCa became the partners of the experiment.

At the production of the Moscow brewery Boyarin and Co, the labeling of bottled and draft beer has been tested.

“The specialists of CRPT and the TrekMark integrator installed equipment on our lines, helped to order codes that were applied to the products. The labeled goods were sent to a retail outlet, where they were successfully withdrawn from circulation, "said Artur Movsesyan, director of Boyarin & Co.

At the production of the Afanasy company in Tver, an experiment was carried out on marking on two lines with a capacity of 12 thousand and 24 thousand bottles per hour. As the project manager Marina Rebrova said, during the experiment, serialization and aggregation, as well as integration with GIS MT and putting into circulation were tested.

“In the future, it is planned to experiment with the transfer of labeled products to the wholesale and retail link with subsequent withdrawal from circulation at the checkout.

After the experiment with the system integrator Alfa-Contact, recommendations will be formed on adapting the production line, if required, and on the selection of equipment for all production lines, ”said Marina Rebrova.

The products of the Afanasy plant are presented in brand stores throughout Russia, and are also exported to Turkey, Tajikistan, Cote d'Ivoire, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Germany, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan , USA, Armenia, Estonia and other countries.

The experiment on the labeling of beer and drinks made from it will last until August 31, 2022.
