Changed the classifier of activities by occupational risk classes

By order of November 10, 2021, No. 788n, the Ministry of Labor of Russia amended the Classification of types of economic activities by occupational risk classes. The changes are related to bringing the names and codes of economic activities in line with OKVED2.

Why do you need a professional risk class?

All organizations are divided into 32 occupational risk classes.

Depending on which group (class) of professional risk the organization belongs to, the rate of insurance premiums for injuries is determined. The classification of economic activities by occupational risk classes was approved by order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia dated December 30, 2016 No. 851n.

What has changed in the classifier?

Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia of November 10, 2021 No. 788n renamed some positions in accordance with OKVED2, and also introduced new positions.

In terms of renaming, the amendments are minor. For instance:

- "The activity of the metro for the carriage of passengers" is replaced by "Carriage of passengers by the subway";

- "Wholesale trade in crude oil" is replaced by "Wholesale trade in oil";

- "Rent of city and intercity buses with a driver" is replaced by "Transportation of passengers by rented buses with a driver";

- "Carriage of passengers by road vehicles for sightseeing" is replaced by "Carriage of passengers by buses on tourist and excursion routes";

- “Production of meat products (meat-containing) for baby food” was replaced by “Production of meat products for baby food, including poultry meat”;

- “Production of dietetic foodstuffs” shall be replaced by “Production of specialized foodstuffs, including dietary foodstuffs”.

We will separately designate which types of activities have been added to the classification.

Added to class 1:

- Activities of pipeline transport other code according to OKVED 49.50.9;

- Production of animated films, OKVED code 59.11.1;

- Production of other films, video films and television programs, OKVED code 59.11.9;

- Rating activity code for OKVED 66.19.7;

- Activities to provide engineering and technical advice on energy conservation and energy efficiency, OKVED code 71.12.8;

- Development of engineering projects and control during the construction and modernization of nuclear facilities, OKVED code 71.12.14;

- Conducting research in the field of socio-economic geography, OKVED code 72.20.11;

- Scientific research and development in the field of social sciences, other code according to OKVED 72.20.19;

- Activities of local self-government bodies of urban districts with intracity division, OKVED code 84.11.36;

- Activities of local self-government bodies of inner-city districts, OKVED code 84.11.37;

- Activities of local self-government bodies of inner-city territories of cities of federal significance, OKVED code 84.11.38;

- Activities to ensure safety in the field of atomic energy use, OKVED code 84.25.3;

- Activities for the organization of recreation for children and their health improvement code according to OKVED 85.41.91.

Excluded position - Activity of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, OKVED code 84.23.16.

Added to grade 2:

- Production of packaged natural mineral waters, OKVED code 11.07.11;

- Production of packaged natural drinking water code according to OKVED 11.07.12;

- Production of packaged treated drinking water code according to OKVED 11.07.13;

- Production of packaged blended drinking water code according to OKVED 11.07.14;

- Production of packaged artificially mineralized drinking water code according to OKVED 11.07.15;

- Processing of amber and production of products from amber code according to OKVED 32.12.7.

Added to grade 3:

- Production of drinking water, soft drinks for baby food, OKVED code 10.86.7;

- Production of fish products for baby food, OKVED code 10.86.8;

- Activity on charging storage batteries of vehicles with electric motors, OKVED code 45.20.5.

Added to class 4 - Production of plastic sealing devices, OKVED code 22.29.3.

Added to the 5th class Storage and warehousing of other goods, OKVED code 52.10.9.

Added to grade 8:

- Transportation (transportation) of nuclear materials, radioactive substances, radiation sources, parts of nuclear installations, radioactive waste by sea vessels of foreign navigation, OKVED code 50.20.16;

- Transportation (transportation) of nuclear materials, radioactive substances, radiation sources, parts of nuclear installations, radioactive waste by coastal ships, OKVED code 50.20.26.

Added to the 12th grade:

- Production of flat frosted glass, OKVED code 23.11.5;

- Production of polished glass in sheets (except for those made by the float method), OKVED code 23.11.6;

- Production of coated sheet glass (except for paint and varnish including enamel glass) according to OKVED 23.11.7;

- Production of sheet glass, other code according to OKVED 23.11.9;

- Production of safe laminated glass for transport (including ground), OKVED code 23.12.4;

- Production of double-glazed windows, OKVED code 23.12.5;

- Production of industrial robots and robotic devices, OKVED code 28.99.5.

Added to class 19:

- Production of additive plants using metal, ceramics and composites as raw materials, OKVED code 28.41.3;

- Production of additive plants using polymers as raw materials, including plastics, OKVED code 28.96.1;

- Production of additive plants using other types of raw materials, OKVED code 28.96.9.

Added to the 26th grade:

- Production of machinery and equipment for forestry, OKVED code 28.30.86.
