We are publishing significant working events of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia in the autumn-winter period of 2021:
1. The third Russian conference with international participation "Glass: Science and Practice" GlasSP2021 under the auspices of the National Commission on Glass of the Russian Federation
In the period from 13 to 17 September 2021, a large-scale event took place - the Third Russian Conference with international participation "Glass: Science and Practice" GlasSP2021 under the auspices of the National Commission on Glass of the Russian Federation.
The organizers of this event were:
- Association "StekloSouz" of Russia;
- Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Silicate Chemistry. I.V. Grebenshchikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS).
Venue: Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Silicate Chemistry. I.V. Grebenshchikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS), St. Petersburg.
The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by the President of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, Viktor Osipov.
The purpose of the Conference "Glass: Science and Practice" (GlasSP2021) is to create conditions for experts to discuss the fundamental problems of glass science and topical issues of inorganic materials science, as well as for effective interaction of scientists with representatives of production.
2. Meeting within the framework of the implementation of the Concept of extended liability of manufacturers and importers of goods and packaging (EPR)
On September 27, 2021, a joint meeting of the heads and specialists of the "StekloSoyuz" Association of Russia and the "Resource" Association was held in the course of the implementation of the Concept of extended liability of manufacturers and importers of goods and packaging (hereinafter the EPR Concept).
The meeting was held with the participation of glass container factories and recuperators within the framework of the Agreement between the Associations.
The President of StekloSouz, Viktor Osipov, and Albina Evgenievna Dudareva, President of the Resource Association, provided information on the current state of implementation of the EPR Concept.
3. Vitrum 2021 (Milan, Italy)
In the period from 05 to 08 October 2021, a grandiose international event for the glass industry took place - a specialized exhibition Vitrum 2021 (Milan, Italy).
Vitrum 2021 is an international specialized exhibition of machinery, equipment for the production and processing of glass and glass products.
As you know, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia has been taking an active part in this large-scale event for many years, presenting the glass factories of Russia at the world level with a collective stand.
At Vitrum 2021, representatives of the global glass industry meet to discuss issues of concern, plan joint work for the benefit of the global glass industry.
StekloSouz of Russia was traditionally presented by President Viktor Osipov with a collective stand at Vitrum 2021.
4. Russian Environmental Forum
On October 12-13, 2021, the Russian Ecological Forum was held, in which the President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia Viktor Osipov and the Deputy Chairman of the Ecology Committee of the Association "StekloSouz" Sergey Lukyantsev took part.
Sergey Lukyantsev made a presentation on the topic: "CREATION OF A SYSTEM OF INVOLVING GLASS IN THE ECONOMIC TURNOVER".
5. XI International Forum "Russian Brewing Industry - A Look into the Future"
On October 15, 2021, the XI International Forum "Russian Brewing Industry - A Look into the Future" was held in Moscow.
The event was attended by the heads of relevant committees and services of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, and supervisory agencies of Russia.
200 delegates from the regions of large Russian and foreign companies took part in the intersectoral event.
Viktor Osipov, President of the Association, spoke on behalf of StekloSouz of Russia. In his report, Viktor Osipov spoke about the current situation in the production of glass containers, the possibilities of glass factories to fully provide Russian food manufacturers with glass containers of varying complexity.
6. Conference "Decarbonization of the economy: risks and opportunities for industrial companies."
The online conference "Decarbonization of the Economy: Risks and Opportunities for Industrial Companies" was held on November 16, 2021. About 300 representatives of industrial companies, universities, consulting and analytical companies took part in the conference.
Organizer: Association "Industrial Innovations" together with the Banking Institute of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
The StekloSouz Association of Russia is represented at this event by President Viktor Osipov and heads of specialized departments.
7. Scientific-practical conference "CONSTRUCTIONS OF WINDOWS AND BALCONY LIGHT TRANSPARENT" November 19, 2021
On November 19, 2021, a scientific and practical conference "Translucent window and balcony constructions" dedicated to GOST 23166-2021 was held in the building of the Moscow Government. Organizers - ANO "National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning" and the company "VEKA Rus".
On behalf of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, President Osipov Viktor took part in the conference.
The purpose of the conference: to reinforce the initiated initiatives and offer the professional community ideas and examples of new trends in the architectural design of multi-storey residential buildings.
8. International Scientific and Practical Conference "State and Prospects for the Development of the Digital Environment in the Sphere of Solid Waste Management"
November 25, 2021 Higher School of Tariff Regulation of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "PRUE G.V. Plekhanov "with the support of PPK" REO "and members of the Consortium for scientific and methodological support of the transition to a circular economy held the International Scientific and Practical Conference" State and Prospects for the Development of the Digital Environment in the Field of Solid Waste Management "(hereinafter - the" Conference "), which took place at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "PRUE them. G.V. Plekhanov ".
The conference was dedicated to the transition to a circular economy; during the conference, the experience of the operational activities of regional operators in the digitalization of this industry was considered, as well as the issues of harmonizing the interests of regions, private investors and funding organizations.
The StekloSoyuz Association of Russia at this conference was represented by:
• Viktor Osipov, President of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia;
• Andrey Demura, Vice-President of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, Director of the Department of Digital Technologies;
• Alexey Savin, Chairman of the Ecology Committee of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia.
Andrey Demura made a presentation on the topic: “Industry 4.0 technologies - an objective tool for monitoring and generating verified data in order to implement legislation in the field of EPR. Proposal for the implementation of a pilot project for the hollow glass industry. "
9. Meeting of the Council of the RF CCI 11/23/2021.
On November 23, 2021, at the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF CCI), a meeting of the RF CCI Council for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy was held on the topic “The main directions of the budget, tax and customs tariff policy of the Ministry of Finance of Russia for the next three years. Their influence on the development of industry and the competitiveness of the Russian economy ”.
The meeting was moderated by Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice-President of the RF CCI, and Konstantin Babkin, Chairman of the Council, President of the Rosspetsmash Association.
The StekloSouz Association of Russia was represented at the meeting by President Viktor Osipov, a member of the RF CCI Council for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy.
10. "StekloSouz" as part of the Committee for the Development of the Closed Cycle Economy of the RF CCI
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation created the Committee for the Development of the Circular Economy.
This structure is necessary to provide support for entrepreneurship in the field of handling production and consumption waste, secondary material resources, secondary raw materials.
As you know, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
By the decision of the Presidium of the SSR, Sergey Lukyantsev, Deputy Chairman of the Ecology Committee of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, was recommended to the said committee.
11. Webinar on the protection of intellectual property results. The PCT System: Typical Errors Made by Applicants
As part of the implementation of the Program for the Development of the Glass Industry in Russia, educational work on this topic is systematically carried out. At the sites of the Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI", round tables, seminars, the topic of RID occupies a special position.
To develop attention to one of the main issues of industrial intellectual security, the StekloSouz Association of Russia took part in the WIPO and Rospatent webinar, which took place on December 9, 2021.

12. The competition "Leader of the Glass Industry" 2021 is completed
Dear colleagues!
Our traditional competition "Glass Leader" 2021, despite external obstacles, was successfully completed. I congratulate the domestic glass industry, organizers, participants and jury members on this event!
