Investment project for polished glass production at Gomelsteklo has entered its final stage

The management of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction has inspected the operation of process line No. 2 for the production of polished glass at Gomelsteklo OJSC. The construction of the line is the final stage of the investment project for equipment modernization, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction told BELTA.

The day before, gas was launched into the glass furnace of the process line. The latest furnace with automated control has some design features that ensure economical operation and efficient use of heat.

As specified by the relevant department, the enterprise is expected to receive its first glass in August. The introduction of the process line - one of the most modern in the world - will significantly increase production efficiency and strengthen the position of Gomelsteklo OJSC on the international market, allowing it to successfully compete with European companies.
