A meeting on the construction of an eco-industrial park in Nevinnomyssk was held by Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov. The investment project involves the creation of a production facility for recycling glass, plastic and PET containers, the press service of the head of the region reported.
“We have reached the final stage of creating one of the first eco-technoparks in Russia. Its launch will allow for the recycling of solid waste not only in the region, but also in a number of regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. I expect that the project will be completed in August of this year,” Vladimirov said.
According to him, in particular, the concreting of the building of the scientific and technical center, the installation of all transformer substations, and a fire-extinguishing pumping station have already been completed. The foundations for all auxiliary structures have also been poured.
Work is currently underway to lay utility and engineering infrastructure.
“I ask you to speed up the pace of construction at the site, synchronize all stages of work with the Russian Ecological Operator and future residents of the park,” the governor set the task.
The press service recalled that the construction of the eco-industrial park in Nevinnomyssk has been underway since 2022 under the auspices of the Russian Ecological Operator. The volume of federal investments in the project is about one billion rubles.
The planned capacity of the eco-industrial park will be 190 thousand tons of waste per year.
