CEO of Sibstekla nominated for the title of Innovator of the Year

Dear colleagues, we are proud to publish the news about the head of Siberian Glass LLC, an enterprise that is a member of the Association StekloSouz of Russia:

Director General of Siberian Glass LLC (the largest manufacturer of glass containers beyond the Urals, an asset of RATM Holding) Anton Mor entered the top three nominees for the title "Innovator of the Year", formed from the list of candidates by the expert council of the annual award "Person of the Year" of the business publication "Business Quarter - Novosibirsk".

Anton Mor will compete with the director of Mikopro LLC Anna Mishina and the founder of Velman LLC Viktor Vins. Which of the applicants will become the "Innovator of the Year" will be announced at the award ceremony in December.

Recall that in 2021 Anton Mor won the Industrialist of the Year nomination for the commissioning of a new glass furnace.

In 2022, Sibsteklo launched the lightest glass bottle in Russia. It was possible to achieve a record low weight - 235 grams - thanks to new design solutions developed by the plant's specialists. At the same time, all requirements for the safety and quality of glass packaging were met. The presentation of samples took place in June, within the framework of the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Such glass containers are more environmentally friendly for Sibstekl customers: their use allows beverage manufacturers to reduce CO2 emissions in the glass container supply chain: compared to a 260-gram bottle by 10% per one standard unit of product. In turn, Sibsteklo, by lightening glass products, can produce more container glass without increasing the consumption of raw materials and energy.
