Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant to Start Production of Boric Anhydride

In September 2025, Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant of the Roskhim holding will launch production of boric anhydride, an important component for high-tech industries. This will reduce dependence on imports and strengthen the position of Russian manufacturers, RIA VladNews reports with reference to the government of Primorsky Krai.

All preparatory work has been completed at the plant: the process flow diagram has been restored, equipment has been prepared, and personnel are being recruited and trained. Boric anhydride is used in the production of borosilicate glass, alloys, and metalworking compounds.

In the first half of 2025, ore production at Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant increased by 30% compared to last year. The plant will undergo shutdown repairs in the near future.
