“Plans were approved to increase trade turnover through joint projects on cooperation and import substitution with the active participation of the regions,” said President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting of the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

“Today action plans were approved to increase trade turnover through joint projects on cooperation and import substitution with the active participation of the regions. In the coming months, we intend to open a full-fledged trade mission of Uzbekistan in Russia to support such projects,” commented the President of Uzbekistan.

Recently, the Prime Minister of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, discussed the creation of a joint Russian-Uzbek enterprise ASADBEK GLASS FIBER LLC for the production of textile fiberglass.

The enterprise will operate in Uzbekistan and will be a joint project with the Dagestan enterprise Caspian Fiberglass Plant LLC.

According to Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, this enterprise was created with the aim of introducing joint import substitution projects.
