Bottles from New Year's parties will be sent for recycling

On the eve of the New Year holidays, the Russian environmental operator (REO) and Pernod Ricard Rouss will launch a campaign to collect glass for recycling in Moscow bars. Popular metropolitan establishments will hand over bottles for alcohol and water for recycling.

According to the press service of REO, the goal of the project is to draw attention to the need for glass processing and reduce the burden on the environment. The PereraBOTTLE pilot project will be held from December 15 to January 15. It will be attended by, among others, residents of Red October, Artplay, Central Market on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, as well as Noor Bar, Keanu, 05/32, Mitzva Bar, Vinoteka Pervy Nos and Vinny Bazar on Komsomolsk. "

A full list of bars that will take part in the pilot project is available on the PereraBOTTLE website. There is also a counter of bottles that were collected during the action. In addition, the site can take part in a small study aimed at finding out how important it is for visitors to be environmentally friendly and how they are ready to help him.

The press service added that it was decided to launch this project just before the New Year holidays in order to reduce the environmental burden. So far, “PereraBOTTLE” is perceived as a pilot project, but in the future it can be made larger.

The technical partner of the project was the Sphere of Ecology separate waste collection operator, which is part of the EcoTechnology Group of Companies. The collected bottles will be sent for processing to the plants of LLC Alex Trade and LLC ChSZ-Lipetsk.
