Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting with representatives of machine-building plants of the People's Republic of China

In the middle of the last decade of March 2023, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the SSR) held a meeting with representatives of the management of machine-building plants of the People's Republic of China.

Within the framework of the joint meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of design, construction, provision of spare parts and related materials for Russian glassworks were discussed.

From the Russian side, the meeting was attended by the heads of departments of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia. The Chinese delegation was represented by the leaders of the holding ChinaTriumph International Engineering Co., Itd. Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, in his report spoke about the history of the development of the glass industry since 1999. Andrey Gorin, Director of the Department of Sheet Glass and Industrial Processing of the SSR, spoke about the consumer market and the need for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Aleksey Savin, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology of the SSR, revealed the current situation in the problematic issues of the ecological state of the glass industry in Russia. He offered cooperation in the construction of cullet processing plants for glass factories, primarily for glass container production. Present technologies and equipment for reducing emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
