Association StekloSouz of Russia. Consultations on Extended Producer Responsibility

On March 11, 2026, the Association StekloSouz of Russia (hereinafter referred to as SSR) held consultations on extended producer responsibility (EPR) with the Federal State Autonomous Institution, the Research Institute, the Center for Environmental Industrial Policy (FSAI CEIP).

The meeting was attended by Viktor I. Osipov, President of the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia, and the heads of the relevant StekloSouz committees:

✔ Aleksey V. Savin, Chairman of the SSR Committee on Ecology

✔ Aleksandr D. Neustroyev, Chairman of the SSR Committee on Energy Efficient Technologies

Dmitry Khristoforovich Mikhailidi, Leading Researcher and Deputy Head of the Resource Conservation Methodology Department, represented the SSR. SSR experts are currently completing the scientific and technical justification for recycling standards.

The next joint meeting will be held on March 20, 2026.

Calculation models will be approved following the meeting. The final documents will be submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, consultations will be held with associations of other industrial sectors whose interests are violated by ROP standards.

The joint memorandum is planned to be submitted to the highest government authorities.
