JSC «Bor Glass Factory» is included in the new US sanctions list

On June 12, 2024, the United States expanded its sanctions list against Russia. Among other things, the United States introduced targeted restrictive measures against the Bor Glass Factory. State Department materials indicate that the company supplies armored glass for Russian armored production.

Klin Glass Factory LLC, located near Moscow, was also sanctioned as “a glass manufacturer producing float glass, the most important basic component for tempered and reinforced glass.”

In March of this year, the beneficiary of the St. Petersburg Adamant holding, Igor Leitis, became the sole shareholder of the joint-stock company and the owner of the LLC, having purchased shares from the Japanese AGC.

According to Business Petersburg, the Russian Glass Company, listed as a manufacturer of tempered glass, was also on the sanctions list.
