Putin: foreign investors actively fill free niches in the economy of Crimea

“There is a potential for developing cooperation with the Republic of Crimea,” the head of state stressed, addressing businessmen. “Free niches are quickly filled there, including by foreign investors.”

Speaking about the cooperation of Turkish business with certain regions of the Russian Federation, Putin noted that in recent years Vladimirskaya, Penza, Kaluga regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions have joined this work. The President added that most of the funds - about $ 2 billion - Turkish companies invested in the economy of Tatarstan. With the participation of Turkish capital, Russia managed to create large enterprises for the production of glass, plastics, household chemicals.
