Microelectronic Technologies Plant participated in the International Glass Industry Forum

Dear colleagues, We are publishing information from Microelectronic Technologies Plant LLC (ZMT LLC), a member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia:

On December 11, the 26th annual International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI," an important industry event for the glass industry in Russia and the CIS, was held in Moscow. This industry project aims to promote the exchange of experience among enterprise management and to promote new technologies and best practices in glass production and processing on the Russian market.

ZMT LLC has been a participant in this Forum for many years and annually presents a report on its new developments in measuring and testing equipment for quality control of glass packaging.

During the event, it was noted that the Russian glass market is growing year after year, with production volumes increasing. For example, in 1999, 5.6 billion units of glass containers were produced in Russia; by 2024, this figure had risen to 14.6 billion units. And, of course, all of this product must be monitored; it must meet the highest quality standards, and end consumers must experience only positive emotions from using it.

The task of glass packaging quality control is precisely addressed by the measuring and testing equipment of the Microelectronic Technologies Plant. This equipment has been manufactured in Izhevsk for almost a quarter of a century. 2025 will be marked by new developments, which were discussed in a presentation by E.O. Elizarov, a representative of ZMT LLC. He informed glass company executives about the launch of serial production of the UIS-GD2P two-position hydrostatic pressure testing system for glass containers, the MILT-1 laboratory inspection machine, and progress in the development of the IT-GP hot coating thickness gauge, as well as the MIT-1, MIVD-1, and MIM-1 inspection machines for glass container quality control.

The audience responded with great interest to this information. Subsequently, a series of negotiations regarding the supply of new equipment from ZMT LLC to glass companies in Russia took place on the sidelines of the Forum. One company in the Vladimir Region, for example, requested technical information and a commercial proposal for the supply of the MILT-1.

The Association StekloSouz, which organized the Forum, noted the importance of this work and presented the ZMT LLC representative with a corresponding certificate.
