Serpukhov building materials plant to be expanded in 2025

The TechnoNIKOL SV plant is being modernized in Serpukhov. It produces fiberglass insulation. The enterprise plans to expand warehouses, increase productivity, and improve technological processes.

In 2024, 1.5 billion rubles were invested in the plant modernization project. This year, the investment volume will be increased to four billion rubles, the regional Ministry of Investment said.

“The enterprise modernization program started last year, during which 1.5 billion rubles were invested in the project. As a result, by the end of 2024, the plant’s production capacity was increased by 11%,” said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments of the region.

Last year, the plant produced more than two million cubic meters of fiberglass mineral wool. In addition, they expanded the range of manufactured products by adding materials for heat and sound insulation of buildings.

“In 2024, we modernized the polymerization chamber on the first process line and organized an automated closed-loop water consumption cycle. New buffer tanks were installed for this purpose. Process water is now used to purify gases and prepare a binder for mineral insulation and does not leave the production facility. This reduces water consumption and the load on the city water body,” said the plant’s director, Alexey Artamonov.

This year, investments will be directed to improving technological processes, increasing productivity, improving product quality, reducing environmental impact, expanding warehouses, and much more.

Currently, the Serpukhov plant produces 418 types of mineral insulation based on fiberglass. They are used in industrial and civil construction. The materials are supplied throughout Russia, as well as abroad.
