The fiberglass plant is being reconstructed in Serpukhov

The reconstruction project for the fiberglass plant in Serpukhov was presented at a presentation at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the City District.

Alexey Artamonov, director of the TECHNONICOL SV plant in Serpukhov, shared information on the progress of the project. Last year, a plant specializing in the production of mineral fiberglass insulation was included in the TECHNONICOL company.

A major renovation of the facility began in the second quarter of 2024 to improve environmental safety, including reducing harmful emissions and water use.

In the second quarter of 2026, the modernization will be completed, which has been ongoing for two years. The project received investments of more than four billion rubles.

The enterprise was built in the city of Serpukhov twenty years ago. Now it produces 300 different types of insulation, producing a total volume of almost two million cubic meters of finished products per year. Products are supplied to the Central, Ural and Far Eastern federal districts of the Russian Federation, as well as to the countries of Central Asia and Transcaucasia. Now the company employs more than 160 people.

Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov previously noted that businesses are actively involved in the implementation of ESG projects, replacing equipment with more environmentally friendly ones, which helps solve the environmental, social and governance problems of the region.

Solving problematic issues is the main goal of reconstruction. Since emissions and environmental problems are of particular concern to local residents.
