Meeting of the RF CCI Council for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy

Dear Colleagues!

As you know, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF CCI). Osipov Viktor Ivanovich, President of "StekloSoyuz" of Russia for many years has been representing the interests of the glass industry in the system of this Russian voluntary non-state association of entrepreneurs and is a member of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for industrial development and competitiveness of the Russian economy.

On June 16, 2021, as part of a business trip to Dubna, a meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy was held on the topic: "Cooperation of scientific and industrial organizations in order to create competitive high-tech products and conquer Russian and foreign markets."

The meeting was chaired by Konstantin Babkin, Chairman of the RF CCI Council for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy.

The following issues were discussed:

one). The state of the Russian market for high-tech products and the main problems of its development;

2). Experience of cooperation between industrial enterprises and scientific organizations and the ways of its development;

3). Import substitution as an incentive for the development of domestic industry and science;

four). State goal-setting and financing of the scientific and industrial sectors of the economy, the role of special economic zones and other forms of support for high-tech companies;

five). Protection of intellectual rights when creating new technologies and products;

6). A look into the future on the development of cooperation between science and production: world trends and tasks for Russia.

The meeting was attended by Viktor Osipov, President of StekloSouz of Russia. Proposals were made within the framework of the development of the domestic glass industry, allowing to strengthen its authority at the level of the Russian macroeconomics and on the world glass market.
