Meeting of the Council of the International Commission on Glass 2020

Dear colleagues, good afternoon!

As you know, StekloSouz of Russia is a member of the Council of the International Commission on Glass (hereinafter ICG).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the ICG Congress in Poland (Krakow) was canceled. In this regard, it was decided to hold an online meeting of the Council of the International Commission on Glass on October 22 this year.

At the ICG meeting, delegates from Russia were represented in the person of Viktor Ivanovich Osipov, president of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, and other officials of the Russian Glass Industry.

At the meeting of the ICG Council, the current situation in the global glass industry was discussed, reports of the annual accounts were heard. Within the framework of this event, officials of the ICG Council were also approved, the prospects for further development, including in the field of the information and educational committee, the UN initiative - "2022 Year of Glass".

At the end of the ICG online meeting, a preliminary outline of the annual events was discussed.
