✔ MEASUREMENT OF CHROMATIC DISPERSION OF BIEFRINGENCE OF PHASE PLATES RECORDED IN GLASSES BY FEMTOSECOND PULSES

Direct femtosecond laser recording of phase optical elements in glasses opens up new opportunities in controlling light beams and developing new functional devices that operate on the birefringence effect. Phase plates in the bulk of quartz and nanoporous glasses were recorded with a laser beam, and chromatic dispersion birefringence curves were measured for them for the first time using several methods. This makes it possible to evaluate the phase delay of direct laser-written birefringent elements, even when using commercial birefringence analysis systems operating at a specific wavelength.

✔ GLASS CERAMICS BASED ON CORUNDUM MODIFIED WITH BOROSILICATE GLASS FOR LTCC TECHNOLOGY

The process for producing glass ceramics based on corundum modified with borosilicate glass with various additives is presented. The described Al2O3/SiO2–B2O3–CaO–MgO–Na2O–K2O system was developed for LTCC technology and has a sintering temperature of less than 950°C. The influence of the sintering additive content on the firing temperature, microstructure, ceramic and electrical properties of ceramics was studied. The developed composition has a dielectric constant ?r = 6.73...6.82 and has a dielectric loss tangent tg? = 8.0...8.6?10–3 at frequency f = 1 MHz.
