World standardization day

Dear colleagues!

On October 14th we celebrate World Standardization Day. On this day, we draw attention to the importance of creating uniform standards of action and express recognition and respect for specialists who devote their professional lives to this responsible and necessary work.

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia attaches great importance to standardization. These documents ensure the quality and safety of glass production, glass products.

The structure of "StekloSouz" Russia has a department of technical regulation and quality control, the director of which is Talakuev Nikolai Pavlovich. Also, Sergeeva Lyudmila Sergeevna, Deputy Director for Standardization of the Department of Glass Containers, deals with standardization issues at "StekloSouz".

Given the importance of this area, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia attaches particular importance to the training and education of managers and specialists in the glass industry. Training seminars are held on the implementation of effective quality management systems, compliance with the requirements of regulatory legal documents.

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, represented by the heads of committees and departments, is a member and actively works in many technical committees, including TC 465, TC 144, TC 041, etc.
