In the Vladimir region, a fiberglass plant plans to expand production

The continuous fiberglass plant in Gus-Khrustalny has planned to expand production. This should happen in 2025-2028, Vladimir Governor Alexander Avdeev said during a visit to the regional center.

In 2022, the Rusatom Glass Fiber plant was transferred from the ownership of a foreign company to the structure of the Rosatom state corporation. Currently, 360 people are employed at the enterprise. According to Avdeev, the employer set salaries above the regional average, organized a free canteen, sports activities, and corporate events.

The glass plant is a member of the interregional cluster "Composites without Borders". This will allow training employees for specific jobs. Last year, a research and development unit was created at the plant, which should have a beneficial effect on further development.

The creation of a chemical cluster in Gus-Khrustalny and a machine-building cluster in Kovrov became known last year. The energy and glass colleges and several enterprises agreed to cooperate.
