Vladimir Glass Factory increased production by 2.5 times

The company producing glass containers and sheet glass, Expo Glass, from the Vladimir region, was able to increase its production output by 2.5 times thanks to training at the Process Factory under the national project Labor Productivity. This was reported in the regional competence center.

The company’s employees were able to start producing 2.5 times more products in three production shifts and make their production profitable. Trainers from the Regional Competence Center of the Vladimir Region helped them with this. The training and production site “Process Factory” allows you to understand, on a simulated production site in conditions as close as possible to real ones, how lean manufacturing tools work and how their implementation affects the performance of the enterprise.

“This training allowed me to plunge into the production atmosphere, clearly see and feel the main problems. The Expo Glass team has acquired unique skills in solving key problems in production. The training was conducted on a very positive note, we plan to conduct training for several more teams,” said Roman Pankratov, director of innovation at the enterprise.

The national project “Labor Productivity” is designed to create conditions for an annual increase in labor productivity in the country by 5%. A set of measures has been developed to help businesses, including financial incentives and expert advice on the operation of enterprises. National projects have been implemented by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2019.
