A tempered glass plant has started operating in Ulan-Ude

There were no such manufacturers in Buryatia before. The material had to be imported from other regions. Thanks to special equipment, the glass undergoes processing and acquires high impact resistance and safety.

First, the robot loader feeds the glass onto the cutting table. All control occurs automatically. The necessary parameters have already been entered into the system. After that, cutting of glass of a certain size begins. Everything happens in a matter of seconds.

– It has become much easier to work, it turns out that you yourself do not have to do anything physically anymore, just stand and press buttons.

Then the finished product is sent to "blunting". This is the professional slang for the process when sharp edges are cut off from the glass. This is necessary to remove additional stress from the material.

Then the automation washes the glass, dries it and sends it to the same machine where the tempering will take place.

– Tempered glass, which is first heated, and this happens in a furnace like this, and then sharply cooled. As a result of such processing, tempered glass becomes 4 times stronger than normal glass.

We check the strength visually. Glass is dropped, but nothing happens to it. But when it breaks, it crumbles into small fragments without sharp edges and is not capable of injuring a person. It was possible to establish the production of tempered glass thanks to the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship".

- With the support of the guarantee fund of the center "My Business", we purchased this equipment for tempering glass. Machines were installed, commissioning work was carried out, production areas were repaired and restored.

A unique production for the republic was launched on six thousand square meters. It appeared on the market at the right time. Safety requirements during construction are reaching a new level and tempered glass is no longer possible.

– Now the company's task is to expand the production capabilities for the production of balcony railings and stairways, the production of Triplex glass."

Here they are able to process a thousand square meters of glass per day. The production is rapidly covering the construction market, starting from the neighboring Irkutsk region and up to the Khabarovsk Territory, and in the future the geography of orders will only expand.
